Deutsch lernen bei KAPITO, der Sprachschule in Münster

Wie sehr die kleinen Dinge im Leben doch Freude machen können! Nachdem ich in den letzten Wochen im Dunkeln bei der Arbeit ankam und im Dunkeln wieder die “KAPITO Zentrale” verließ, ist der Jahreszeitenwechsel nun rasant zu sehen – zumindest was das Tageslicht angeht (leider nicht die Temperaturen… *bibber*). Wenn der Himmel klar ist, kann man morgens von unserem Büro aus den Sonnenaufgang betrachten, und schon hat man einen guten Start in den Tag mit all seinen großen und kleinen Herausforderungen. Schaut mal, wie herrlich das aussieht…

How much joy the small things in life can bring! After a couple of weeks in which I arrived at work in the dark and later left the “KAPITO headquarters” in the dark as well, the rapid change of seasons is now apparent – at least in terms of daylight (unfortunately not the temperatures… *shiver*). When the sky is clear in the morning you can watch the sunrise from our office, giving you a good start in the day with all its small and great challenges. See for yourselves how glorious that looks…

A veces son las pequeñas cosas las que nos alegran la vida. Durante las últimas semanas iba y venía a la „central de KAPITO“ y era de noche, pero por fin se ve el cambio de estación, por lo menos en lo que se refiere a la luz (lamentablemente no en lo que respecta a las temperaturas…..*castor*). Si el cielo está despejado se puede ver desde nuestra oficina la salida del sol y eso está muy bien para comenzar un día de trabajo con sus pequeños y grandes retos. Mirad las vistas…

Jetzt wo im neuen Sekretariat langsam alles seinen Platz gefunden hat und nur noch einige wenige Dinge fehlen (zum Beispiel der runde Tisch, an dem zukünftig Beratungen stattfinden sollen), haben wir die Zeit und Muße, um über Dekorationen nachzudenken, die zusätzlich eine freundliche Atmosphäre schaffen. Fernanda zog vor kurzem los mit der Mission, etwas Grünzeug zu besorgen, und kehrte zurück mit zwei sehr schönen Exemplaren, die nun unser Büro zieren. Außerdem wartet eine gerahmte Weltkarte darauf, an die Wand gehängt zu werden (sobald ein passender Hammer gefunden wurde), und für den letzten Schliff der Wohlfühl-Dekoration sorgt die kleine Buddha-Figur, die unsere Lehrerin Bernadette mir von ihrem letzten Aufenthalt in Nepal mitgebracht hat (danke nochmal!). Der Buddha ist allerdings so klein, dass er als Deko nicht sehr auffällt – achtet doch mal bei Eurem nächsten Besuch im Sekretariat darauf, wo er sich versteckt.

Now that everything has found its place in the new office and only a few things are missing (such as the round table at which our consulting service is to take place in the future), we have enough time and leisure to consider decorations to additionally create a friendly atmosphere. Recently Fernanda went on a mission to get some green stuff and returned with two very nice specimina that now embellish our office. Furthermore, a framed map of the world is waiting to be hung on the wall (once we have found a suitable hammer), and the finishing touch of the feel-good-decoration is provided by the little Buddha statue which our teacher Bernadette brought back for me from her latest stay in Nepal (thanks again for that!). The Buddha is that small, though, that it doesn’t attract much attention as a piece of decoration – when you’re visiting us in the office the next time, make sure to try and spot it.

Ahora que en la secretaría cada cosa ha encontrado su sitio y sólo nos faltan un par de cosas (por ejemplo la mesa redonda pensada para el asesoramiento de nuestros alumnos), nos hemos tomado un poco de tiempo para dedicarnos a la decoración y así sea el ambiente más confortable. A Fernanda se le encomendó la misión de comprar plantas y volvió con dos ejemplares de lo más bonitos. Además, tenemos un mapa del mundo a la espera de ser colgado en la pared (en cuanto encontremos el martillo) y para redondear el ambiente tenemos un pequeño Buda que nos trajo nuestra profe Bernadette de su último viaje a Nepal (muchas gracias de nuevo!!). El Buda es un poco pequeño, así que cuando os paséis por la secretaría tenéis que fijaros por dónde anda escondido.

Allen ein gutes neues Jahr! (ja, das gilt auch noch nach 10 Tagen…) Wir hoffen, 2012 hat für Euch prima begonnen und wird so weitergehen!

Unsere Kurse finden seit gestern wieder statt – es ist endlich wieder Leben im Haus! Staunende Augen gab es vor allem bei unseren wiederkommenden Schülern, die unser neues Sekretariat zum ersten mal zu Gesicht bekamen. Wir haben uns auch inzwischen an das neue Sekretariat gewöhnt, obwohl man manchmal aus alter Gewohnheit noch in das alte Büro gehen will…

Das neue Jahr begrüßen wir mit lustigen Fotos aus dem alten Jahr, nämlich von unserer Weihnachtsfeier, die wir diesmal im Phoenicia gefeiert haben  (sehr, sehr, sehr leckeres Essen!!!). Wir hatten den allergrößten Spaß beim sogenannten “Schrott-Wichteln”: Jeder sollte etwas von zuhause mitbringen, das er als Schrott empfand und loswerden wollte, und diese “Geschenke” wurden dann verlost. Hierbei wechselten alte DVDs, Schmuckkästen, Bücher, viele Deko-Artikel, Gartenzwerge und dergleichen den Besitzer und sorgten für den einen oder anderen Lachanfall.

Happy new year to everyone! (yes, this is still valid after 10 days…) We hope that 2012 has started well for you and will continue that way!

Our courses began again yesterday – new life in the house!  We saw some wide eyes in the faces of our returning students when they first caught sight of our new office. By now we have gotten used to the new office, too, though sometimes out of habit you want to go to the old office…

We greet the new year with some funny pictures of last year, that is to say of our Christmas party which we celebrated at the Phoenicia (very, very, very delicious food!!!). The greatest fun was the so-called “Schrott-Wichteln” (“junk Secret Santa”): everbody was to bring something they considered junk and wanted to get rid of, then these items were drawn. Therefore, old DVDs, jewellery boxes, books, many decoration items, garden gnomes and the like changed hands and triggered numerous fits of laughter.

Feliz año nuevo a todos! (sí, ya lo sé, también vale 10 días más tarde…..). Esperamos que el 2012 haya empezado bien para todos y que continúe así!!!

Nuestros cursos empezaron ayer de nuevo – por fin hay vida otra vez en el edificio! Caras sorprendidas hubo sobretodo por parte de nuestros antiguos alumnos que vieron nuestra nueva secretaría. Ya nos hemos acostumbrado a nuestra nueva oficina, aunque la costumbre nos lleva de vez en cuando a la antigua…

Damos la bienvenida al nuevo año con divertidas fotos de nuestra cena de Navidad que se celebró en el Phoenicia (la comida muy, muy buena!!!). Nos lo pasamos muy bien haciendo el juego del amigo invisible, donde se repartieron diversos „regalos basura“, entre ellos viejos DVDs, joyeros, decoración, enanitos del jardín, lo que nos hizo reir mucho.

"Das ist doch kein Schrott!" Fernanda und mir gefielen die gehäkelten Frosch-Topflappen von Anne so gut, dass wir ab sofort als "Front-Office-Frösche" auftreten - "But this is not junk!" Fernanda and I liked Anne's crocheted frog pot holders so much that from now on we'll appear as "front office frogs" - Esto no es ningún „regalo basura“ a Fernanda y a mí nos gustaron tanto las ranas-salvamanteles que a partir de ahora vamos a ser las „ranas del front-office“
